About the Author: Innovarum
Innovarum launches for the MainstreamBIO project the second call for applications for free technical and business support services for bioeconomy projects in the rural world in Spain. Those selected will have a minimum of 3 meetings within a period of 2 to 6 weeks. In these meetings, they will be advised by the project experts in their service(s) of interest.
Who is it for?
Applications can be submitted by individuals (natural or legal persons) or groups of 2 or more partners (natural or legal persons)* with small-scale rural bioeconomy ideas or projects located in Navarre, Aragon or Catalonia (all in Spain).
Although individual applications are accepted, group applications will be more positively valued. In any scenario, only a single application will be necessary (it will be possible to provide the information of all partners involved in a single form).
The profile of the applicant(s):
- Forest managers who want to make efficient use of their forests.
- Livestock farmers who want to take advantage of their animal waste.
- Farmers looking to take advantage of plant residues from their crops.
- Rural entrepreneurs who want to build their businesses around the bioeconomy.
- People with such initiatives who want to develop them.
The services
Technical support services cover:
- Advice on project design and development
- Search for technologies
- Advice on commercial scaling-up
- Techno-economic analysis
- Advice on nutrient management and fertilisation
Business support services cover:
- Business model design and optimisation
- Market analysis
- Business mentoring
- Financing roadmaps
- Partner search and matchmaking
How will the service be provided?
- Meeting #1 – Interview: presentation of objectives and starting situation.
Meeting #2 – Presentation of the proposal and fine-tuning with the selected group.
Meeting #3 – Final meeting and delivery of final documentation.
* The number of services will be determined according to the needs of the selected groups and each group will receive a maximum of 2 services. The modality of the meetings (face-to-face/online) will be agreed in advance between the service provider and the selected cluster.
