Daniel holds a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the Technical University of Madrid (Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics - CBGP) and a MSc in Computational Biology. He has focused his research career on deciphering different mechanisms of plant adaptation to environmental changes while working within an international setting. Daniel’s enthusiasm for leveraging novel bio-based solutions to address major societal challenges drives his professional aspirations, leading him to pursue a Postgraduate degree in International R&D&I Project Promotion and Management.

The total volume of organic matter lost or wasted in agriculture and industry for food production, hereinafter referred to as agrifood losses, is immense.
